Mastering Nutrition is Your Everest!

by | Dec 30, 2019

Have you ever come down from Everest?? Let’s say that mastering your nutrition and being super consistent is analogous to scaling Everest.

I’m going to tell you the one thing that every single program gets wrong in the fitness industry.

I have yet to see anyone do this correctly.

Typical Diet and Nutrition Programs

First, let’s look at how most diet or nutrition programs set you up…

They give you the guidelines and the path that they’ve paved for you to reach the summit.

If they also provide nutrition coaching, that’s like your Sherpa to lead you up their path.

Most people make it about halfway up and find the path they’re being asked to follow is just too unsustainable.

So they fall back to the bottom.

Then they move to a different path that’s been paved for them.

Same result.

Measuring Success

Now, there are some legit sherpa’s out there who can get you all the way to the top!

They’ve built a path that has more flexibility and margin for error. Instead of one strict path, they’ve given you multiple avenues.

So even though you may trip up or stumble or switch lanes, they guide you to the summit!

Success, right?!

Well… not so fast.

Even though they were more accommodating than most… you were still following THEIR path.

You may be thinking.. yeah but I still made it to the top of Everest so what do I care how I got there.

Valid question. My follow up question is this… now that you’ve reached the summit… now what?

Where do you go from here??

And this is where everyone falls short!

Scaling Everest – Only One Part Of the Nutrition Equation!

It doesn’t do you any good if you can’t get back down safely and with the tools to climb back up on your own if you want to!

Think about the last time you achieved a physique you were proud of? How long did it last?

Did you effectively maintain what you wanted without any ill effects from the climb to get there?

Were you able to effortlessly go on about your life feeling confident and self-reliant in your nutrition and fitness?

Did you feel like you could easily scale that mountain again on your own if you wanted?

The answer is likely no.

So What’s the Solution?

For starters, instead of asking you to follow a set path, we teach you how to pave your own.

We help you manage the challenging terrain, weather, and unexpected obstacles that show up on your path.

We teach you the moves, techniques, and mindset that allowed you to persevere.

We allow you to pave your own way down!

You may have scaled Everest by tracking and being consistent with your macros.

Well in order to effortlessly come down from the summit, we also want to establish automatic behaviors that allow you to sustain your results without needing to obsessively track every morsel of food.

Most programs get you halfway up the mountain and then watch you fall back down.

Good nutrition coaches get you to the summit and then applaud your efforts, pat themselves on the back, and watch you stumble back down.

Exceptional nutrition coaches guide you to the summit on a path that you created, teach you how and why it happened, then guide you back down the other side.
