Peace of Mind is What You REALLY Want!

by | Apr 30, 2020

What you want is PEACE OF MIND.

“Nah, uh, Mike, you don’t know what you’re talking about … I want to lose weight and fit into my jeans.”

That may be true (the part about me not knowing what I’m talking about), but let me explain.

If you’re unhappy and unfulfilled, your weight isn’t going to magically unlock the keys to happiness and fulfillment.

Your pant size won’t either.

It’s the FEELING you’re after.

That feeling is peace of mind.

What are you REALLY chasing after?

Not having to worry about the scale or clothes not fitting and being able to just live.

Peace of mind when you want a glass of wine and don’t have to second guess yourself about whether it’s derailing your progress.

You want peace of mind when you’re craving a donut, a cookie, or some pizza. And, instead of internal conflict, you just eat it and move on.

How about peace of mind that the work you’re doing is actually moving you forward, rather than feeling like you’re spinning your wheels?

Peace of mind when you want to take a break from numbers and it’s not met with anxiety … but freedom.

You want to experience peace of mind in your own skin.

Imagine the peace that comes when you realize that the past is the past and that it doesn’t define you. That the failed dieting attempts had nothing to do with you and everything to do with a shoe that simply didn’t fit.

Peace that the internal dialogue you’ve created based on those past experiences is not rooted in reality and that you can control and rewrite those narratives in an instant.

Coming to the realization that you will never reach an arbitrary finish line. That each goal or benchmark along the way will simply open up a new realm of possibility and potential. And, that this fact is actually what makes life so beautiful.

Lastly, peace of mind that failure is necessary, welcomed, and is simply an event … not a characteristic. That being perfect is no longer an aspiration.

Peace of mind goes beyond the numbers

You still think it’s about the weight? Or your measurements?

Here’s a real time example of a text that was sent on Saturday …

“Making the decision to work with Trish is one of the best investments I’ve ever made. I have lost 2.25″ in my waist, 2.25” in my hips, and over an inch on each thigh.

I have traveled, attended parties, and thoroughly enjoyed myself during these first 12 weeks. I never felt deprived or that I couldn’t eat (or drink) something.

Nothing is off limits and knowing that is so liberating!

I am so happy with my results so far, but more excited for the next 12/24/36 weeks! This is only the beginning!”

You see … it’s possible that you read that and internalize the inches down. I read that and hear PEACE OF MIND.

Travel. Parties. ENJOYMENT. LIBERATION.

THAT is what you want.
