What’s Your Problem? It’s Not Your Macros …

by | Aug 11, 2021

Your lack of progress has nothing to do with your macros.

I know that may seem counterintuitive for all the obvious reasons …

-Macros provide awareness around what you’re eating.
-Macros provide specificity in how much you’re eating.
-Macros can be a useful tool to support body composition changes.

In fact, we use macros in some capacity with lots of clients and our success rate is pretty freakin high.

I’ll take it one step further and say that there are a TON of people out there right now who would benefit a great deal from spending just a short period of time tracking macros.

But for YOU … it’s not your macros.

Because you are reading this.

Which means you are like me.

And, you’ve probably spent a good chunk of time tracking macros.

And, you’re probably not where you want to be right now.

So no … for you … it’s not just a matter of adjusting your macros.

You’ve been down that road plenty of times before.

It’s why you keep trying to figure it out on your own.

You know a decent amount about nutrition so you figure a simple macro tweak is all you need.

You’ve tried decreasing calories, going low carb/high fat, lower fat, eating your macros in a shorter feeding window …

And nothing changed.

Maybe temporarily, but you still haven’t cracked the code.

That’s because it’s not your macros.

I mean sure … you can keep going round and round in circles and hope that you magically get to where you want to be.

Or, you can read the writing on the wall.

Here’s why your problem is NOT your macros …

You want to know the number 1 thing we do for our clients who come to us feeling stuck that immediately gets them unstuck?

Like I’m talking individuals who have been frustrated for DECADES and within a couple of weeks we have them making progress.

You probably won’t believe me.

We have them do less.

Less of what?

Less of everything.

Less tracking. Less stress. Less control. Less training.

I know this probably makes your brain hurt because it goes against everything you’ve been told.

Plus … it’s not trackable.

You can’t look at stress balance on a scale.

You can’t monitor stress balance with your Apple watch.

It’s time to LISTEN to your body.

You actually have to LISTEN.

To your body.

To the body of evidence you’ve accumulated over years of running yourself into the ground.

Thinking you need to do more of everything.

All the while, you’re doing everything for everyone else.

And you forgot that your body doesn’t want to be in overdrive 24/7.

You assume your binge episodes are a lack of control.

You assume that you have trouble with emotional eating.

You assume that you lack discipline.

My assumption is that you continue to deprive your body of what it actually needs.

Recovery.

Stress management.

Homeostasis.

I know it’s difficult to wrap your head around but just consider the alternative.

You can keep thinking you need to macro harder.

Keep adjusting your numbers and thinking you’ll find the magic combination.

In the meantime, you’re still stressing about food, still stress eating, and still trying to push harder through every plateau.

Or, you can realize that maybe the way you’ve been doing things has been working against you all along.

You don’t have to believe me.

But we do have the most successful 1:1 coaching program to show for it.

Our clients get sustainable results.

Our clients continue to get incredible results and very rarely does it have anything to do with the macros we prescribe.

Once we show them what it feels like to prime their metabolism by reducing stress, recovering adequately enough, and fueling properly … the lightbulb goes off.

They immediately understand why they were stuck for so long and within the first few weeks they say that they’ve never felt better.

By implementing our Neurotyping principles, consistency is no longer an issue because we’re working with their nature vs. fighting against it.

So, they feel more like themselves and notice more energy, a better mood, and less stress.

And, we integrate everything into their lifestyle so they can still enjoy themselves throughout the process and achieve their goals at the same time.

In fact, most of our clients are amazed that they can track less, have more freedom, and still reach their ideal body composition through our process.

We do all of this in our 6 month, 1:1 coaching program that is perfect if you feel like nothing works, regardless of how many macro adjustments you’ve tried.

I should also mention that the individuals we serve best are those who value time over money.

It’s an investment in yourself, which saves you time, energy, and frustration.

If you’re ok saving the initial investment in order to waste more time … this program is not for you.

However, if you want your time back, your energy back, and to actually achieve the results you desire in the most effective way possible … then it’s probably a good fit.

Simply shoot me a PM on FB  so we can find out for certain if it’s a good fit on both sides.
