How Much Progress Can You Make In One Month?

Can you eat more and get leaner in just one month?

Yesterday, I told you how you can claim a month of 1:1 coaching at no cost (hint: go here and listen to the first 5-10 mins).

Now, one month probably seems like nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Especially if you’ve been struggling and frustrated with your lack of progress over the course of years or decades.

But, what if one month changed your entire perspective of what’s possible AND allowed you to eat more while losing weight?

But Mike, I follow Gary Guru online and he says I have to eat less to lose weight. Dr. Guru, who isn’t a doctor, he just identifies as one, is constantly telling me to adhere to my calorie deficit.

With all due respect to Gary Guru, who I’m sure is a stand up guy, can we take a minute to assess how that advice has worked for you so far?

Well, one of our clients, Tiffani, is a perfect example.

I’m not sure if she was working directly with Dr. Guru but certainly someone similar.

She was following a strict macro program with 7 days a week of tracking and her carbs were at a whopping 25 grams per day.

You’ll be shocked to find out that Tiffani was struggling big time.

She was frustrated that she couldn’t make progress and lose weight …

Had a bitch of a time trying to stay consistent …

And was experiencing frequent binge sessions.

When you don’t make progress, you start to question yourself.

The worst part about clients who come to us in this position are the questions they ask themselves …

What’s wrong with me?

Why am I failing?

Why can’t I do this?

The real question they should be asking is …

Is this really the path for me?

Fortunately, Tiffani was smart enough to question the sustainability of what she was doing and reached out for help.

At a certain point you just get so frustrated at constantly spinning your wheels that you feel like there HAS to be a better way.

And, of course, there is.

Tiffani made the investment in herself and began working with Coach Mel.

Here’s where it gets fun.

Here’s what progress in one month looks like …

Mel had her track LESS than she was before by giving her the full weekend to be flexible with her nutrition.

Mel also started increasing her calories so she would be able to stay more consistent and stop binge eating.

And in just 4 weeks, Tiffani is down about 6-7 lbs.

Now … those results alone I’m sure would be worth it to anyone …

More flexibility, more food, less body fat.

But that’s not the best part.

Tiffani is now confident in the process and seeing the power of playing the long game.

She doesn’t need to be perfect.

She can still be human, she can still have days where shit hits the fan.

And, she can still make progress and enjoy her life through all of that.

So yeah … a lot can change in one month.

The question is … will you let it?

Will you take the first step?

Will you invest in yourself and commit to a different way of thinking?

Those are the only things holding you back.
